This painting has been viewed more times than any other on the site, I made it in 2003/4 and I have to say it seems to have stood the test of time as I am still feeling it is a very interesting piece. Maybe I should go back over some older ground and do a few more like this. There is something about the warmth of the colours, a late summer glow to it and the textures [ which alas cannot be appreciated in a photo] were really rich. So I am taking an opportunity to share this one again.
